This is Nana speaking.
I have something very important to say.

A year from about two days ago, at dusk, I spotted a UFO.

Yes, an Unidentified. Flying. Object.

I was at a camp in north Georgia for twelve days. I had come alone, and was surrounded mostly by strangers.

In the few days prior to the sighting, I had gotten myself into a verbal catfight with some bitch whose name I'd rather not mention (and wish I didn't remember). I had insulted her for no real reason, and she gave me hell for the six remaining days I spent at camp. The whole experience still haunts my self-esteem to this day.

On the second-to-last night at camp, I was sitting on the porch, feeling depressed and watching the silhouettes of bats fly around. The Sun had already set over the mountains. The Evening Star (Venus) was still visible, but slowly descending.

At some point, I looked up and saw that another star had appeared next to Venus. It looked kinda red, and not as bright as Venus. It was also rising instead of setting with the rest of the stars.

I looked at it both with and without my glasses on. It was not an illusion. As I stood up, it accelerated, and then shot across the sky in a manner that suggested it was flying, not falling. It looked like it was being propelled, like a rocket would.

At the time, I was not wearing a watch, and did not get the chance to record what I saw. I have told my story to multiple people though, who may or may not believe me.

This may not count as a close-encounter story, but I know I saw something very unusual.

Please tell me what you think.

You know last summer i was at a sleepaway camp as well, all secluded and everything. Me and a friend were stargazing, when we saw a bright red light propell itself across the sky in the manner you described. As a matter of fact, we saw TWO of them that night. We were certain that we'd both seen UFOs. And actually, when i returned home from camp, im sure i faintly saw another one on one of the clearer nights. I haven't seen any since, though. Probably because of all the clouds here lately.
